Grace Bible Church of Fresno is an independent, non-denominational church committed to accomplishing a great task: preaching the good news, teaching God’s Word and standing firm on the Truth. We are dedicated to honoring and glorifying our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by faithfully preaching the truth of God’s Word and humbly equipping men, women and young people to love and serve God and others. We have chosen the name “Grace Bible Church” intentionally:
Grace—We have been saved by the grace of God through faith alone in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ, and we live each day as a result of God’s grace to us. As sinners who were born “dead in trespasses and sins,” we deserve nothing but judgment by an all-holy God. Yet in His love, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for sin on our behalf. This is pure grace.
Bible—God has chosen to reveal Himself to the world through the Living Word (Jesus Christ) and through the written Word (the Bible). The Bible is the only way we can know who God is, what He has done and what He desires of us. Therefore, the Bible is central to everything we do here. We want to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” and the only way we can accomplish this goal is to know God’s Word.
Church—We are not a building or a program, but a living Body. The church is “Christ’s body,” of which He is the Head. Those who fellowship here at GBC are a local, visible part of Christ’s body. Therefore, we gather to worship our God through song, prayer, fellowship and Bible study in order to bring glory to Him.
At GBC You Will Find:
- Christ-centered, reverent services of worship where the Bible is believed, taught and preached.
- An atmosphere in which the Bible is communicated in such a way as to provide God’s clear answers to the deepest questions of the soul.
- A ministry that points to the all-sufficiency of the crucified and risen Savior, Jesus Christ, who desires to bring peace, comfort and assurance to men, women and children.
- A deep and personal confrontation with God’s Word so that you might be moved and motivated to spiritually grow, change and consider the living God and your relationship to Him.
